The branch duly invites you to attend the upcoming Black Country Area Health Branch AGM, details of which are below:
Date: Tuesday 25th February 2025
Venue: Dudley Archives, Abbey Room, Tipton Road, Dudley, DY1 4SQ
Times:
Pre AGM Session: 10am for coffee and networking followed by Populism in Politics talk
Main AGM: 12pm till 2:30pm. (Lunch will be provided followed by educational session. Please RSVP by 18th February to Neil – Branch Chair, details below)
Important Notice: As part of the AGM the branch will be holding its three yearly elections for branch officials and workplace reps as per the Unite Rule Book. The branch official’s positions agreed by branch that are available to be nominated to are:

· Treasurer & Vice Treasurer
· Equalities Officer & Vice Equalities Officer
· Membership Officer
· Equality LGBTQ+ Rep
· Equality BAEM Rep
· Women’s Officer
· Environmental Officer

· Communications Officer
· Education Officer
· Political Officer
· Campaigns Officer
· Social Secretary
· Learning Rep
If you are interested in any of these positions or wish to become a workplace rep please attend on the day or let the branch chair (Neil Forrest) in advance.
Please Note: As per the Unite rule book, any candidate who wishes to stand for any position in branch or workplace will require at least 2 nominations from other Unite members.
All members are required to provide proof of current Unite membership in order to gain access to the AGM, please bring your Unite membership card or number with you on the day.
